RAB has arrested one person in Tangail along with heroin worth one million rupees. RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail conducted an operation and arrested 01 accused with 100 (onehundred) grams of heroin (worth about Rs. 10,000,000). On Friday (April 30) at 6:30 pmon the basis of secret news, RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail's acting company commanderAssistant Superintendent of Police. The campaign was led by Ershadur Rahman.
Expedition ,
The expedition team conducted an operation on a dirt road in front of the Ekta YouthDevelopment Association Club house in Kokadair village under Nagarpur police station in Tangail district.
During this time, 100 (one hundred) grams of heroin (estimated to be worth
Rs.10,000,000), 02 mobile phones and 4 SIM cards seized in Hatena.He is the son of late
Tula Miah of Kokadair village in Tangail Nagarpur upazila.
Interrogation of the accused ,
When questioned in front of the witnesses, the arrested accused said that for a long timehe
has illegally collecting heroin and supplying it to other police stations in Nagar policestation of Tangail district for sale.
The arrested accused has been supplying heroin to various drug dealers in
theNagarpurpolice station area of Tangail district and in the surrounding police station area
and inciting the youth to take drugs.
Drug cases ,
A regular drug case has filed against the accused under Section 6 (c) of Section 37 (1)ofthe Narcotics Control Act 2016 at Nagarpur Police Station in Tangail District.so
